About the Sensors

Thesensors are the "eyes and ears" of Cell Hound™.  Sensor and Mounting BracketThe sensors are installed throughout the facility and communicate with the server via an Ethernet LAN connection.

Each sensor measures 6.24"w x 6.24"h x 1.1"d, and is powered by an external DC power supply unit, much like a cell phone charger. The sensors can be installed on walls, pedestals, or the ceiling.  Sensors can even be installed outside the facility with the optional outdoor enclosure.

In indoor installations, the Mounting Bracket is attached to the wall or ceiling with four screws. The sensor easily pops into the Mounting Bracket and can just as easily be removed, if necessary.

Sensor location planning takes advantage of the building's existing architectural drawings, which can be imported or scanned directly into the software. The installation team will determine the best locations for the sensors based on the building structure.
